Quality Assurance
Our Quality Management system is fully documented,
independently audited and certified to International
Standards Organization ISO 9001:2000 standards. We believe
our key to success, as a Navy Prime contractor is our
defined and repeatable process with a corporate culture
committed to total quality products and services. Our
underlying corporate quality program was developed from
stringent Military Standards of the 1990’s and typically
exceeds the ISO 9001:2000 minimum quality standards. We also
recognize that a quality system without compliance is
useless, therefore Coalescent senior management is dedicated
to full compliance and continuous process improvement. Our
quality manual, documented processes, and records of
compliance are available for inspection by any federal
client or auditor.
This process-based structure addresses our organization's
quality management system requirements, continuously
demonstrates its capability to meet customer requirements,
and applies to all aspects of our operation including:
contracts management, subcontractor management, program
management, hardware development/integration, software
development, material procurement, and services. Imbedded
within this certified quality system lies a software
development process that corresponds to CMM level 3
processes. Additionally, our Program management documented
practices include a strong foundation to ensure accurate and
dependable Cost and Schedule metrics for true performance
based contracting.
ISO 9001:2000 registration
gives our organization the benefit of an objectively
evaluated and enforced quality management system. It is a
tangible expression of our commitment to quality that is
internationally understood and accepted. ISO 9001:2000
registration is carried out by registrars, accredited
organizations that review our quality manual and other
documentation to ensure that the standard is met, and audit
our processes to ensure that the quality management system
described in the documentation is in place and is effective.
