Coalescent Technologies was contracted by Battelle to design and implement an asset management system to identify, track, and report status of weapons stored in an arms room at the United States Army Reserve Command (USARC).

APPROACH

  • Illustrate the feasibility of using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology in an Arms Room environment for inventory management

  • Install the selected hardware and software to ensure accurate data collection

  • Provide appropriate levels of training and support in order to effectively evaluate the technology during the proof-of-concept

  • Develop a new-equipment training package
