Fire Team Cognitive Skills Trainer
The Fire Team Cognitive Skills Trainer (FTCST) is based on our own VBS1™ simulation environment using the Bohemia Interactive Studio Oxygen II Game Engine that focuses on squad and fire team movement and intra-team communication skills. FTCST allows fire team leaders to build on their leadership roles and provides the cognitive training needed for close quarters battle and open terrain team interaction. Numerous situations are introduced to the fire team leaders in order to pre-plan and execute fire and maneuver against real OPFOR players within the FTCST. |

Non-lethal Weapons
FTCST also incorporates Non-Lethal Weapons (NLW) to provide training to enhance the Small Unit Leader's tactical decision-making skills for success in the complex and difficult challenges of urban warfare. The deployable trainer will present scenario-based simulations to enable the Small Unit Leader to acquire and/or practice decision-making skills as well as in the use of non-lethal munitions during peacemaking and peacekeeping operations. |

ITK-FO
ITK-FO is a software application designed to provide refresher training to Forward Observers (FOs). As an integral component of the Infantry Tool Kit (ITK), it provides much needed refresher training to Marines afloat. Rather than static targets and observation posts, the FO moves with the maneuver unit that he’s supporting to train him on a fluid battlefield and to improve his coordination of supporting fires.

ITK-FO incorporates target and observation post location, the Call For Fire (CFF), adjustment of fires (initially field artillery, but later followed by the incorporation of mortars, Naval Surface Fire Support, close air support), and damage assessment. It is designed to be laptop compatible, linked by a LAN (or wireless), and capable of providing training to 16 personnel simultaneously. The system will meet USMC formal school training requirements and will be provided to USMC formal schools for their use. |

Computer-Based Decision Making Trainer
The Computer-Based Decision Making Trainer (CDMT) is a CD-ROM-based decision making course depicting high-stress combat situations, developed for the Marine Corps infantry regiments. The unit leader views combat video on a large screen and must make immediate decisions as a mission scenario unfolds. Various scenario missions provide the unit leader and his team with multiple environments and threats. |
