Marines Check Out MILES Equipoment
Using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technologies, Coalescent system engineering personnel have designed an Electronic Materiel Management System (EMMS) for the U.S. Marine Corps' new Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System (MILES) 2000 Tactical Engagement Simulation System. EMMS allows the USMC to electronically locate, track and quickly issue MILES equipment for battlefield training. Coalescent engineers were responsible for system development, documentation, world-wide implementation and training.
