Margaret Grayson, appointed as
President of Coalescent Technologies

Winter Park, Florida, October 1, 2007 - It was announced today that Margaret (Peg) Grayson has been appointed President of Coalescent Technologies. She assumes the role that Dr. Kenneth N. Whitmore has held since the company’s inception. Dr. Whitmore will continue as CEO and Chief Scientist. As President, Ms Grayson will assume the oversight and management of the company. She will also develop and implement the company’s strategy and action plans, incorporating the necessary steps to ensure all areas of the company are in total compliance with all relevant regulatory agencies. Dr Whitmore will focus more of his energies, skills, and experience on developing new markets, products and services to enhance the company’s value to its current and future customers.

Ms Grayson joined the company as Senior Vice President/ Corporate Compliance Officer (CCO) earlier this year. “We initially brought Peg on board to help Coalescent continue to effectively and efficiently anticipate and respond to our customers’ and our subcontractors’ changing needs as well as changing governmental environment,” stated Dr. Whitmore. Ms Grayson’s extensive background in accounting and finance has enabled her to move into senior level management positions over her 25-year career. Her most recent job was CEO of a security software development firm that provided products to the intelligence community and other federal agencies and commercial customers. This led to her Presidential appointment to serve on the National Infrastructure Advisory Council (NIAC) where she continues to provide guidance on areas of specific interest for the protection of critical national infrastructure. Her financial management career began at Honeywell, Tampa Operations and includes previous positions as V.P. of Finance and CFO for technology development and government contracting firms SPACEHAB, V-ONE Corporation and Sirius Satellite Radio.

“As the year progressed it became evident that Peg was making valuable contributions in every area of Coalescent and would be a perfect fit for the presidency of the company,” Dr. Whitmore added.
