Dramatic Growth Brings Additions to July 12, 2007 - Grossing nearly $70 million in sales last year, CTCorp has grown from an embryonic start-up just 10 years ago to a dynamic participant in the U.S. defense industry. As the company has grown, new dynamics have come into play in what and how CTCorp will be doing business in the future. “We needed to broaden and deepen our expertise both in growing our customer base, and in our meeting the needs of and ever-evolving environment. We must continue to effectively and efficiently anticipate and respond to our customers’ and our subcontractors’ changing needs as well as changing governmental regulations,” stated Dr. Kenneth N. Whitmore, CEO. This meant searching for and hiring additional highly competent and experienced executive management in certain key functions, along with the professional middle management personnel the company had already begun to add to the company. CTCorp worked with an executive search firm, Dahl-Morrow International of Washington, D.C. to initiate a nation-wide search for candidates who were an exact match to corporate needs. “With their help we were able to find and hire two highly qualified individuals who would not have been on our radar otherwise,” added Whitmore. As a result the company is announcing the addition of Margaret (Peg) Grayson and Richard (Rich) Pepe. Peg Grayson joins the company as Senior Vice President/ Corporate Compliance Officer (CCO). Her extensive background in accounting and finance has enabled Grayson to move into senior level management positions over her 25-year career. Her most recent job was CEO of a security software development firm that provided products to the intelligence community and other federal agencies and commercial customers. This led to her Presidential appointment in 2002 to serve on the National Infrastructure Advisory Council (NIAC) where she continues to provide guidance on areas of specific interest for the protection of critical national infrastructure. Her financial management career began at Honeywell, Tampa Operations and includes previous positions as V.P. of Finance and CFO for technology development and government contracting firms SPACEHAB, V-ONE Corporation and Sirius Satellite Radio. Grayson will develop and implement the necessary steps to ensure all areas of business are in total compliance with all relevant regulatory agencies. Rich Pepe, Coalescent’s new Vice President/Chief Operations Officer (COO) brings with him 20+ years experience running all aspects of every major corporate function from engineering, manufacturing, IT, quality assurance, and contracts, to human resources, business development and finance, and more. Rich has successfully held positions including Program Manager for a $400M UAV program, to Vice President of Operations, Engineering Manager, Proposal and Capture Manager, General Manager and Director of Finance of large and medium sized firms. Rich will be responsible for overseeing and resolving day-to-day operations issues, and ensuring that the company is practicing technical and financial management in accord with approved company business practices.
