Coalescent Technologies Corporation at the
128th NGAUS General Conference
Orlando, Florida, August 30, 2006 - Coalescent Technologies Corporation announces its participation in the 128th National Guard Association of the United States (NGAUS) General Conference in Albuquerque, NM, September 14-18, 2006.
The Coalescent exhibit will highlight the company’s broad-based training, technical support, and supply chain management capabilities while focusing on specific accomplishments in support of the Army National Guard. Coalescent is particularly proud of our role in the recent successful XCTC event in Indiana and of the company’s Mobile Virtual Training Capability (MVTC™) low-cost, highly effective synthetic training suite. The MVTC™ was specifically designed for the Army National Guard. It is easily configured and easily transportable for use in remote regions. The MVTC™ is already in-use, and being enthusiastically embraced, by soldiers and by trainers in Mississippi, New York, Vermont, Florida, South Carolina, Kentucky, Indiana, Minnesota, Washington, and Oregon. At the Camp Shelby and Camp Atterbury Mobilizations Centers, the MVTC™ is part of the training curriculum for Guardsmen preparing for overseas deployment.
The Guard’s current operational requirements, serious force protection threats, and equipment/time availability challenges make finding efficient and effective training opportunities especially difficult. In addition to the challenges of time and availability, the nature of the threat has changed dramatically. These factors create the need for training solutions that focus on enhancing decision-making skills at the small-unit level. They need training systems that are modular, scenario driven, and deployable; systems that can be used both for training and for mission rehearsal. The MVTC™ addresses the need for training systems where mistakes are not critical, the clock can be turned back as many times as are required, and a training mission can be replayed and evaluated in a comprehensive After Action Review (AAR) to help them gain the experience and confidence required.
We look forward to your visit to our booth (#1043-1045). Please give our team an opportunity to tell you about some of the work we are doing. Specific information about the NGAUS General Conference and the schedule of events can be found at: (http://www.ngaus.org/content.asp?bid=1673).
The National Guard Association of the United States, or NGAUS, was created in 1878 for the purpose of providing united National Guard representation before Congress to obtain better equipment, standardized training, and a more combat-ready force. Today, NGAUS has the same mission, with the goal of maintaining the freedom and security the nation by guaranteeing a strong national defense through the provision of a vital dynamic National Guard as a part of the Total Force.
