Contact Memory Button
Contact Memory Button (CMB) is a technology the
uses a microchip housed in a ruggedized container to
store and transfer data. The button-sized chip interfaces with a reading device to transfer information associated
with the asset. CMBs can hold large amounts of data in
a small form factor. This configuration makes them useful
in harsh environments where asset data is required to remain with the asset.
